Cawarden provides quality natural wooden flooring at competitive rates. Sourced from properly managed plantations, for each tree harvested, four are planted. Whilst we specialise in new oak flooring, we also offer a wide spectrum of other timber flooring including Reclaimed Pine, Ash, Cherry and Maple. Our range of multi-ply Oak Flooring allows customers to use Oak in conditions where solid flooring would not be suitable - such as underfloor heating. Prices from £26.00 per square metre

Floorboards - Character Oak
The character oak grade is selected to offer a floor with a mass of feature and presence, which in turn creates a floor with a lot of character. A mix of 'crown' and 'quarter sawn' floorboards, with some colour variation and larger knots are selected for this grade. This grade is widely used in older traditional properties and restoration projects, but is equally at home in a modern contemporary setting.

Our 'character shorts' are the same grade as our Cawarden 'character oak', only the specification of the floorboard differs. This product is ideal for customers who want a solid oak floor, but have a limited budget. The floorboards are recovered from the slab wood produced during beam production, which reduced the amount of timber waste, which in turn reduces the cost of the actual floorboard

This product is a credible alternative to reclaimed floorboards. During a unique process the surface of the floorboards are lightly scorched to soften and darken the surface. The finished product gives a distressed and period appearance, suited to older, traditional properties and restoration projects. We can cater for individual requirements by offering the aged oak flooring in light, medium or dark scorching to you taste

Floorboards - Engineered Oak
Engineered oak flooring is a new and revolutionary floor. It has all the added benefits of a solid oak floor but many of the problems that may be experienced with a solid oak floor are virtually eliminated. Engineered oak floorboards are up to 75% more stable than solid oak floorboards, with shrinkage and expansion reduced to a minimum. Engineered oak flooring can also be used with under floor heating. The top surface of the engineered oak floorboard is a 6mm thick solid oak wear layer. The wear layer is pressed onto a 15mm marine grade birch plywood using a cold foaming glue. This formation ensures that the engineered floorboard is extremely stable, whilst it also gives the same feel and appearance as a solid oak floor. The manufacturing of the engineered oak flooring is to the highest of standards

Engineered oak flooring are available in:120mm,140mm,160mm,180mm,200mm and 220mm widths
The boards are up to 2.95 m in length

Rewmar MS600 is a one part, modified silane based flexible wood flooring adhesive. It is suitable for sticking down any species of wooden flooring to almost any subfloor. When dry it has a high bond strength between the wooden floor and the subfloor but remains permanently flexible. This allows the flooring to move as the seasons change but it will not crack, and the floor will stay adhered to subfloor. If any adhesive is left on the surface of the wood it is easy to remove either wet or dry (following day) and no special chemicals are required.
